This workshop is for small business owners who want to learn more about SEO (search engine optimization) in order to grow the traffic to their website. Websites ranking higher on Google, Bing and Yahoo search engines get more website visitors and consequently more customers. Here’s how you can impact how many internet users find your website. Step 1: Install Google Analytics onto your website to track the number of visitors to your site, how many pages they are looking at and where they are coming from. We will show you how. Step 2: Understand keyword search and determine the best keywords for your business. We'll teach you how to find the keywords that your industry & competitors use Step 3: Convince search engines that your website is an important site by creating links from other websites, directories, blogs, social media marketing, etc. to your website. Come to the workshop and learn how to establish these critical links Step 4: Decide to DIY or get for outside assistance. We'll discuss the options & costs With so many consumers using the internet for information/purchasing of products/services, your website is one of the most important marketing tools available to you. Creating a site and putting it online without integrating it into your overall marketing strategy, will not result in increased sales. How you plan to drive traffic to your site must be included in your marketing plan. This workshop will break it down into actionable tasks for you to implement over time. Featured Speaker: Nancy Leve is an owner/partner at Virtual Fundamentals, a South Florida internet marketing company which creates e-newsletter marketing campaigns, produces video testimonials, develops FB business landing pages and builds web sites. She also serves as a Business Development Manager for the Florida Women’s Business Center. In both roles, she helps small business owners and entrepreneurs succeed. Nancy pulls from personal experience having taken an idea to market in three different startups. In addition, she has 25 years’ experience in Marketing, Management, Training, Public Relations, Marketing Research and Event Planning within both the private and public sector. As a lifelong learner, Nancy studies to stay current as business/societal trends change. Lately, her intellectual curiosity is focused on Social Media Marketing.
