THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH IS HOSTING ITS CICLOVIA AND
Miami Beach is bringing Ciclovía (pronounced sih-clo-veeeee-a with enthusiasm!) back on Sunday, June 12, 2016 along Washington Avenue from 5 to 16 streets.
The City will transform the corridor into a paved park for people of all ages to stroll, cycle, skateboard, rollerblade and enjoy Washington Avenue with a new perspective.
This corridor will temporarily close to vehicular traffic from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. to create a safe public space for residents and visitors to experience the thrill of strolling or rolling right down the middle of an iconic Miami Beach artery.
The City will be offering free yoga and fitness classes, bike polo, performers, face painters, DJs and much more! Businesses along the route will join in on the festivities with their own promotions, food samples and raffles.
For attendees traveling to the event by vehicle, you are encouraged to park at the garages on Collins Avenue at 7 Street or 16 Street. Click here to share the event online with friends.
